FAQ & insurance
Questions, answered plainly.
Insurance and cost questions shouldn't be a mystery. Here's what new patients at our Fortitude Valley practice ask most.
Do you accept private health insurance?+
Yes — we have HICAPS on-site for instant claims with all major Australian funds (Bupa, Medibank, HCF, NIB, and others). You only pay the gap on the spot.
Do you offer bulk billing?+
We accept the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) for eligible children. General adult treatment is not bulk billed, but we'll always quote the out-of-pocket cost before treatment.
Is there a payment plan for larger treatments?+
Yes — for implants, full-arch work, and Invisalign we offer interest-free instalment plans through a third-party provider, set up at your consultation.
What should I bring to my first appointment?+
Your Medicare card, private health insurance card, and a list of any current medications. If you've had recent X-rays elsewhere, ask your previous dentist to send them ahead.
How far in advance should I book?+
We hold genuine same-week slots for new patients, and same-day capacity for emergencies. Routine cosmetic consultations (Invisalign, veneers) are best booked 1–2 weeks ahead.
Do you treat children?+
Yes — we welcome children from their first tooth, and bulk bill eligible appointments under the CDBS for ages 0–17.
What if I'm anxious about the dentist?+
Tell us when you book. We run longer, slower-paced appointments for anxious patients and explain every step before it happens — no surprises.
